So, I started doing CICO 3 weeks ago at 5’4, 177 pounds, and I was extremely scared to weigh myself. I thought “what if my weight doesn’t change at all? What if this was all for nothing?”
Well, I weighed myself today and I’m now down to 174 pounds. Not the biggest amount, but still, it’s something! Part of me wishes I could lose weight faster, but then I know I’m not going to be able to keep it off, and I’ll be hungry all the time. I get extremely hungry sometimes around dinner with the deficit I’m doing (eating 1500 calories a day for the last week, and 1700 for the 2 weeks before that,) and being hungry frankly sucks. It’s why I quit the last time I did CICO (which was only for a week.)
I’m pretty proud of myself. Now, I’ve got 35 pounds to go until I reach my first goal of 140, and 45-50 pounds until I get back into a healthy weight for my height! That’s gonna be a whole 35-50 weeks, just about. Maybe sooner since I decreased my calories.
