Down 13.6, I'm I really going to get under the 290 lb mark?

I am fat. This much is true, I have struggled with my weight and size pretty much since grade 12. 20 years later and my highest was 347. That was in 2017 and after intentionally doubling my thyroid medication (I have a severe hypo thyroid disease, Hashimotos) I dropped weight, almost 55 within the year for my brother's wedding, where I was a maid of honor.

Edit1: my doctor freaked out and told me I could have induced a heart attack, so don't do this! I take a high does of Synthroid and doubling it was not okay!

The only other time I lost any substantial weight had been pregnancy. My first I lost 82 pounds. I went from 289 to 207. I remembered crying when I left the hospital as on check out they weighed me and then 5 years later the weight piled back.

So, after a shit year of covid, I used the BC Benefit cheque ($1K for a couple, one time) and bought a spin bike last weekend from Canadian Tire. I downloaded the Pelaton app and in 1 week have complete 3 full rides and 2 partials. Last Saturday it was 6 minutes, then a 12 minute ride Sunday. I had to order a padded seat and padded shorts as my goodness big but and a bike seat hurts. However, yesterday I did a 30 minute ride and a 20 minute dance cardio class and survived. Weighed myself for the 1st time since before New Years and I am down 13.6 pounds.

I introduced 18:6/16:8 fasting during the weekday with a reduction of carbs.

Edit2: I started modification to foods in January.

I turn 40 in 14 months and I really want to be fit and 40, so to a group of strangers of this group I have been lurking on, I needed to share. Sorry, if this was a long post, I just needed to share.

1st goal getting under 290! 2nd goal hitting 270, by my 39th 3rd goal 240 by end of summer. 4th goal low 200s by Christmas. 5th goal under 180 by my 40th Final goal hit the 150 mark by my 10th wedding anniversary, the same year.

A NSV goal is to be small enough to ride Gringotts Coaster and Hagrid Bike coaster and the Rip Rocket coaster in Universal Florida. Of course once covid is under control and Canada allows us to travel again.
