So I just have a quick question, I’m trying to do a slow cut with a bit of recomp. I am a 5ft 2 female, with maintenance of about ~1600 (tried and tested). I workout about 4-5 a week, strength training and it has done wonders. I’m pretty happy at my weight (120lbs) but I eventually want to go down to 115, but I’m in no rush at all.
For four days I’d like to eat at maintenance, then on the two rest days and the low impact day eat 1200 calories. So if it was perfect, that’d be a 1200 calorie deficit per week. Is that deficit enough to see eventual weight-loss but help minimise muscle loss?
I get so unsure of myself sometimes, haha.
