Okay so I'm finally back to my pre kids weight I'm 5 foot 1, 132 lbs down from 195. I do light intensity strength training and walk 1-2 miles every day. Getting down to the 130s wasn't that hard I didn't really have to cut down on my food intake just started eating more salads and veggies instead of bread and rice, and cut out junk food and sugary drinks. Well... I only have 10 lbs left to go to get to my goal weight and all of a sudden my body is putting up a hell of a fight 🥴 everything is good until dinnertime. The whole day i feel full lots of energy then around 8pm I start to get intense cravings and so hungry I can't fall asleep. I can't overcome it I end up eating something and even though its all healthy food it ends up being a lot and my weight is starting to creep back up! Its especially frustrating because the fat is showing up on my belly and back...
Here is an example of what I eat during the day its pretty much the same every day
Breakfast: 3 eggs 1-2 cups spinach 2 cups unsweetened almond milk 2 tbps. Honey
Lunch: 6 oz. Salmon with 1-2 cup mixed vegetables (broccoli, carrots, celery, cauliflower)
Dinner: 8 oz. Chicken 2/3 cup black beans
Snack: 2 oz. Sunflower butter with 2 tbsp. ground flaxseed 1 oz Unsweetend 100% chocolate
It might not look like a lot of food but I'm logging everything in myfitnesspal and it comes out to 1500 calories or so every day so I know I'm getting enough calories. Plus I am full until just after dinner. Starting around 8/9pm I get soooo hungry its unbearable. Tonight I ended up cooking and eating half a pound ground beef ate that with some spinach. Still hungry...ate half pound of tofu and some turkey breast. STILL HUNGRY 🤣 had .5 cup pistachios, a bowl of plain yogurt, a bowl of oatmeal, more sunflower butter...finally the cravings stopped. I was still hungry but I managed to fall asleep total calories ended up being 2862 🤦.
Wtf is this and how do I make it stop 🤣?! I worked really hard to lose all that weight and in the past week I've gained 3 lbs. If the gyms were open I would ramp up my strength training to compensate but I'm stuck at home and cant afford to buy any equipment. The cravings are really unbearable my mouth waters I can't fall asleep I just lay there and think about food.
