I used to go for medium-long walks (30 minutes i believe) with my dog as a way to keep myself in shape: i feel like i can't go out anymore at the moment, so i began walking on a treadmill at home.
I went from 30 minutes to 60 minutes; at 3.7 mph, the treadmill's inclination can't be modified but it's naturally inclined (it isn't flat). I walk for 60 minutes at 3.7mph twice every day.
My diet hasn't changed: i only eat at dinner and my calories usually do not exceed the 600-700 range.
Not only im not losing weight, but it's actually INCREASING.
Im getting a little desperate and i feel like i'll never reach my goal at this point.
Is there a way to properly tell how many calories im truly burning? The treadmil's screen says something like 250-260, google says 300-330 and yet im not losing anything. The distance should be around 3.5km i think.
Is it pointless to walk like this? Should i increase speed? I'll welcome any suggestion, really. I don't want to sound overly dramatic but im really desperate.
