Hi everyone,
New here!
I've been really struggling as a whole with body dysmorphia...I fell into a rough patch during college and gained about 70lbs fairly quickly (within a year, sorry I don't have time specifics...I always wish I would have written some dates down). I eventually realized the weight I gained and worked to lose it plus an additional 20. For some specifics my SW was 155, shot up to 21, and CW is 130.
I unfortunately lost weight relatively quickly with little exercise...cut calories like crazy. Again, I'm not sure how long it took, but I'd say a little under a year. I made my current weight last summer and gave maintained it with little fluctuation. During this last year, I eat a regular diet and work out almost daily. As I read that weight training could help fill out loose skin, I've recently began adding this is instead of strictly doing cardio.
I primarily have it on my stomach and inner upper thighs. I don't think it's terrible, but it kills me to look at it (cue the aforementioned body dysmorphia lol).
From what anyone knows or can guess, after a year of maintaining my current weight, am I screwed from having my skin tighten up naturally?
Sorry if this is at all repetitive!
