In the coming weeks I will weigh less than my partner and it seems to be effecting her. How to handle it.

In a few weeks or less I expect to weigh less than my partner. I have been with her 10 years and this will be the first time ever. This time around I have taken a different approach to losing weight. I am pretty much just focusing on myself and not telling a soul other than online.

I started at 223 lb and currently 203lb. My partner weighs 198 lb.

She asked me what I weighed the other day and since then she has brought it up daily how I will be lighter than her. I have not brought it up or do not continue the conversation but I can tell it is upsetting her. I'm going to continue and move forward with losing my weight the way I have been, but I also don't want to constantly hear about being lighter than her going forward. I have not asked her to lose weight. The only thing I have been pretty strict with is that I am going to eat my healthy meals and if she wants to go out to eat regularly, I will not be included.

I would definitely like some input from females who could give me a better perspective. Thanks.
