Anyone has experience losing weight when exercising is impossible?

Hi, I'm 25F and weigh 61kgx163cm. I'd like to lose 5-6 kg (about 11-13 lbs?) but due to medical reasons I can't exercise at all. Even walking is out of the question, and I barely can manage everyday activities (e.g. walking to the grocery shops). I used to be very active before this problem and losing weight (I never had to lose this much, at most 3-4 lbs after vacations with family) was very easy to me because of being so active. At the moment I'm sticking to a 1200 calories plan (estimated TDEE is 1500 kcal) but I'm frustrated at it being so slow and wonder that it will never actually be possible to lose weight with this little activity. Any experiences?
