So I keep periodically trying on some of my old clothes to see if they fit. I don't weigh myself and only measure once a month or so and so it's the main way I notice a difference. AND OMG THEY ARE STARTING TO FIT! I managed to get into my size 16 (UK) trousers and shorts today and though the shorts were tight they were not uncomfortable or anything and same for the trousers. Like No massive bulges or anything. For the first time in nearly 2 years!!! I am so excited!
Honestly I've not done any dieting or anything. The main thing I've done is replace part of my normal portion of food with salad for every meal. I've eaten out and had take away, drank alcohol, done whatever I like really. I've just reduced my portion sizes and snacking. And on days where I have a bad day like a migraine I just eat whatever I need to and don't worry about it. The other thing is I have taken up running doing the couch to 5k program, which has been fun and I have nearly completed.
But... it's not been as hard as I thought it would be? I am hoping I can keep it up though :)
