This is a bad habit I've had since I was a kid, and it's making sticking to my planned diet a real pain. I wake up, usually before my alarm, get some cereal or ramen, fall back to sleep, wake up to my alarm, and then get some more cereal or ramen. By the time I've woken up for good, I've already eaten around 600-800 calories before my day has even started. I don't wake up hungry or do it because I'm bored. It's just a deeply ingrained habit.
I know I could just change my diet during the day to accommodate, but I'd rather make a good habit of planning my meals and sticking to them.
I was thinking about keeping a few bottles of water by my bedside so that I can just chug some water as soon as I wake up, but if that doesn't work I'd like some more advice.
