This book has some interesting concepts in it. The Advantages Response Cards are literally notecards with all of the reasons you want to lose weight (i.e. more energy, less pain) written down on them. It is suggested that you read these cards to yourself at least twice a day plus anytime you're feeling weak. I recently watched 'Invictus' which had a poem with some very powerful quotes. I'm adding these to my response cards.

Do any of you have any mantra's that you find helpful? Do you do something similar (vs notecards) like post-it notes on your mirror?
