Quitting smoking vs quitting eating

Well I quit smoking cigarettes about two and a half weeks ago, today I went for my first jog down the road and back and felt like my lungs have gotten much healthier. I could probably go for twice the distance. So far it seems like quitting smoking was easier than cutting back on eating a lot. I am about 197lbs and want to diet and exercise to get to my goal of 160lbs. I've been using myfitnesspal to track my calories but at the end of the day, when my daily calories are all eaten up, I still have the urge to eat. The urge to eat more feels stronger than the cravings I had for cigarettes. I didnt think I'd have so much of a problem with this. Does this mean I'm addicted to eating? Do I have a disorder? I get the urge to eat even when I'm not hungry... I want to lose the weight and to quit smoking so I could go on daily jogs was a big part of that, but only to find out that I have an eating disorder? Does this ever go away? Do I have to wait for my stomach to shrink?
