The top right image in the dinner before section was the reason I gained weight.
I was in grad school and was working late every day pretty much and running on like 4-5 hours of sleep for 2 years straight. Often times, my major required me to drive 60 miles out of the city and work until 4 AM to 7 AM, so it beget eating second and third dinners.
The convenient thing when work was done was the 24 hour mexican restaurant that had a chimichanga served on top of a bed of lettuce, cheese, and salsa, with cheese melted on top and a side of sour cream and guac for $5-$6. I ate that A LOT. I ballooned from 180 lbs at the start to 215 lbs at the end of grad school. I gained up to 232 after school at my new job.
Took 8 years for me to kick myself back into gear but my dinner tonight was the one on the bottom on the right panel:
Salad mix with spinach, roasted red pepper vinaigrette (only 1-2 tbsp = 80 calories total), guac, black beans, impossible ground beef, a yogurt and a gala apple. Total of 400 calories.
I make burritos, indian food, southeast asian food, and pasta, but at the end of the night my favorite thing to eat is still salads. Light yet filling, tasty, doesn't make you feel bloated when you hit the bed, makes you feel light the next morning and you've lost weight!
