I swear, I've been down this road, down this journey way too many times. 8 years in the gym on and off, kept quitting and kept falling off cause i was never 100% consistent and kept lacking the discipline.
I've been at this roller-coaster for like 8 years, still haven't managed to tame the lion.
This sort of stuff always happens. I've started back in the gym 3 weeks ago after stuffing my face from deliveries since the start of the Corona pandemic.
In the back of my mind, I'm like, 'here we go again', 3 weeks in, started eating decent and clean, stayed focus on going to the gym no matter what, started feeling slimmer around the legs and stomach
Then all of a sudden DoorDash/Grubhub/Ubereats are sending me all these 75% off promo codes and i feel like just giving up and letting the fat boy inside me take over and just keep telling myself
"let me enjoy myself with these awesome discounted food prices" and I'll get back on track in October or November when it gets more colder.
And the cycle just keeps repeating,
"I'm gonna start a month later"," I'm gonna start on New Years"." I'm gonna give up and just eat my brains out and I'll think about starting again back in March because i still have 3 more months left till the Summer comes ! "
Then June comes and you're like.......uhh, I'm kinda screwed.
I swear, life is deliberately trying to derail your progress.
NO MORE. THIS ENDS NOW. If i succumb to the food now, I'll always be a slave to it and never ever reach my end goal
