Want to hold myself accountable and need motivation

This is my first time using reddit. I've been on this app for a few months but it seems as though there is a good community for those trying to lose weight.

I'm a 20 year old University student. 2 years ago I was at my goal weight, looking and feeling my best (90kg) but due to complacency in 3 months I gained 10kg. By 9 months I was at 117kg. I started my first year of University September 2019 and I was roughly 115kg. By December I was 125 due to overeating, eating late and eating out, plus carbs are deadly.

In 2020 I tried to shake the weight, but I failed and by the time I had to come home for quarantine in April, I was north of 135kg. For a month I did my best to shake the weight and managed to get myself to 110kg. This was with a strict calorie deficit of eating just 600 calories a day, 4 litres of water a day. Walking 5 miles a day, plus some Chloe ting workouts. But once restaurants opened up again, plus the eat out to help out I was back to piling on the pounds. I gained around 5kg back on by the time I came back to Uni. I decided to start my weightloss journey.

I am currently talking to a girl that I potentially want to date and she's my motivation to shed off the weight as I want to look good for her and she deserves someone that looks great. We meet for the first time in ~2 weeks and I am NOWHERE near my goal weight, but I want to lose a significant amount of weight before then and then keep it going.

I want to use reddit as a way to keep me accountable. I use fitbit also, but I like the community here as well.

I want to record my weight regularly (weekly) and update on my progress. If anyone has any tips or words of encouragement I would very much appreciate it. :)
