4 days ago I started really easy. I figured out my calorie intake to be just about 1400. Also just on that day I noticed I hadn't been eating anything sugary for a little less than a week.
So I slowly started to dwindle my calorie intake and today I finally ate only the calories I was supposed to. Just eating simple, small, nutritious, and comforting meals (No specific diet) was enough and easy to do twice today. I only snacked once. Admittedly, I also had 2 sugary drinks but the total was just about 1350. I drank plenty of water throughout the day thoughl, and will try to just have 1 sugary drink tomorrow then hopefully just water within a week.
I've also been doing 20 pushups/60 squats everyday. I'm already noticing doing those push-ups be easier and easier so that's certainly motivation to keep going. I just want to take it to the next level and I think a 5 mile walk (2.5 mile one way, 2.5 mile back) in about 1 hr. 30 mins everyday. should be sufficient.
So, does everything check out? And if I do decide to do the 5 mile walk, will I need to change how many calories I take in?
