It feels like I’ll never lose the weight.

I’m not good at consistency. With anything. I love video games but I can’t log in for those rewards that you get for going in so many days in a row. I love writing but I only get the urge every two weeks or so. I love crafts but I have a dozen unfinished projects, and the materials for who knows how many more.

Losing weight is like that. I can eat keto for a week or two, but then get sidetracked either because of time or cravings. I can hit the gym three times a week for a month and then not go back for many more. I can do yoga every night for a week and then just forget. I can meal prep religiously but it falls apart as soon as the cafeteria at work makes something that smells too good to resist.

Mostly I’m just venting. I’m 5’2” and 237 lbs. I need to lose atleast 75 lbs, and would be better off losing 100 lbs.

I see people constantly overcoming crazy things to lose weight, but I can’t even commit to doing one healthy thing a day. I want to lose weight. I need to lose weight. It just feels like the walls inside my head are just too big for me to regularly take the next step.
