Is it better to lose weight first and then start toning and build muscle or just start building muscle now?

Hello Loseit!~

Ive been on a weight lost journey since 2018, which I was at my heaviest which was 365lbs. In the beginning of the yeat some events happen that made me realize...I needed to get my shit together or I would die. A few of those events were.. Mom became a diabetic, Lost a brother to diabetes, High Blood Pressure runs in the family, and I saw the 600 pound life and looked in the mirror. Then "BLAM!" Realization finally hit!

So I got started and cutout so many things.. Iv'e cried! Iv'e thrown self tantrums! But I fought through it and went to gym almost everyday, drunk water, cut out soda and soul food.

3 years later

I lost 157 pounds! I ended 2019 at 207 pounds!

Now in 2020 I covid hit and gyms shutdown. I started to eat more protein meats etc to build muscles. Scale went up but I feel like it's a mixture of both fat n muscles. Don't know what percent of muscle or fat I am but it bothers me. So in my head I can't make up my mind nor what to do.

I wanna get my body smaller and then build muscle tone up etc but at the same time I dont know if I should stick to just muscle building and gain it.

So I'd like to hear what you amazing people think I should do!

Check my account to see how I use to look!
