Hi all,
Quick disclaimer: this rant is coming from a place of privilege in that I have money to shell out for an expensive (and yet necessary) item. I understand that is a serious luxury these days... so do know: TW: wealth/money/whining about dumb things.
Just a quick rant that it feels so UNFAIR to have to put down serious money on certain clothing items when you aren't yet the size you want to be!
I live in a place that gets to -40+ in the winter and so a winter coat is of paramount importance. Plus, I need a warm coat if I'm to be going out for daily walks to better hit my weight goal.
I'm just working really hard to not shame myself out of buying a really nice warm winter coat for myself that I absolutely will love... I've spent years putting off buying the NICE thing because I haven't earned it, and I'm starting to think this is a trend that just drags me down.
Anyone else feel this way about purchasing quality items in a size you don't want to be?
