Counting calories is easier than I thought it would be

SW: 140, CW: 137, GW: 125, 5’2” 28F

Last time I got into tracking calories, I was only 18 and terrible at it. For one, I used to cheat and not log things or log them incorrectly. And two, it made me obsessive and contributed to an unhealthy relationship with food.

Now, I’m surprised at how easy it’s been to track and stay within my goal for the last few weeks (1600 cal/day, I’m on my feet a lot during the day and aiming to lose weight slowly). I’m not starving at the end of the day and don’t feel deprived at all. Loseit seems to be a lot better and easier to use than I remember MFP being (even though that was 10 years ago).

Is it supposed to be this easy or am I doing something wrong? So far I’ve lost a few pounds of water weight. Trying to stay patient and keep going!
