Anyone start their journey eating too few calories?

250lbs/F/5’6 I was doing OMAD and eating about 1200 calories. Lost about 10lbs pretty quickly then completely plateaued. In my head, I’m thinking I’m eating too many calories because that’s obviously why I’m not losing anymore - obviously wrong. After I calculated my TDEE, cutting 500 calories from my maintenance puts me at 1,700 calories for my deficit and daily intake. It feels like SO much more food than I’m used to but I’m thinking I was getting into unhealthy eating habits...

I just assumed that because I’m a woman I should be eating around 1,200 calories and based off other subreddits and posts.

Well, here’s to trying again based on my TDEE.
