I (23M, 5’8”) attended a military course where our food intake was pretty limited. I went into the course weighing 160, the same I had weighed for about 3 years. I ended the course weighing ~155, which was not as low as expected, but probably because we pigged out the last few days. For the next week I was constantly hungry and ate A LOT. After that first week I weighed ~165. After that, I went back to my typical eating and exercising habits I had before the course, however, my weight gain didn’t stop, and after 3 more weeks I weighed 175.
I don’t noticeably look chunky, but definitely ~thicker~
Why did my body decide to put on all this weight when I was following the same habits I had before the course? The same habits that kept me at 160?
