Hello all,
I am a young college student (female if that helps) and I want to become healthier and lose some weight. BMI is said to be outdated, but my BMI is one point away from classifying me as overweight. This is concerning, as I know if I continue eating carelessly I will surely get there soon. I am quite curvy naturally, but some of it is probably extra weight I could stand to lose!
I want to prevent this by losing weight now, and of course I also want to start living a healthier and more conscious lifestyle!
In college, friends seem to peer pressure you into eating unhealthy foods and lack of time to cook doesn’t help either. I really want to break that cycle.
Anyway, TLDR; should I try doing one of those fad diet protein shake deals if my goal is to lose just 10-20lbs?
