I have a lot of anxieties around food, including hoarding shelf stable/freezer items, and feeling very anxious if I am hungry. I don't know why I feel like this, so I am unsure how to fix it. I also overeat and binge eat more often than I care to admit. I've contacted my GP and should have a phone call from a doctor next week to discuss this, but I'd like to hear from anyone who has dealt with this and come out the other side as to what helped/didn't help. So far I've tried:
Slimming world,
CICO
generally eating healthier
However, I've never managed to stick to anything for too long and then I end up losing a bit, then gaining even more when I stop doing it. I no longer try to change too much, for instance when I last did CICO, I limited myself to 2000 calories a day with a view to reducing it gradually as I got used to it, but even that was not successful.
