Hitting a plateau; don't know how to proceed.

Hey guys,

I am male. 31 years old. Weighed about 260lbs just a month ago. I started exercising and dieting in the beginning of June and saw a rapid weight drop for the first 2.5 weeks. I am now at 240lbs and I've been at this weight for the past 5 days now. I guess this is what they call a plateau.

I've researched about this online and everyone's advice seems to be "cut more calories; exercise even more." Well, here's my issue:

  1. I went full on vegetarian. I say vegetarian but I'm closer to being a Vegan as eggs are the only animal product I eat. I've kept my calorie count as low as 900 calories a day since I started.
  2. My workout routine has been 15-25 mins of jogging and then 1 hour of power walking every single day.

I don't know how else to go about this. I've cut my dinner out by replacing it with 1 single banana but my weight just won't...go down. Last night I skipped the entire dinner after my work out and was starved. I'm really good and self control though, I have no eaten anything unhealthy and the way I prepare my veggies are either in a salad format or I just boil them in water. I'm also on a super low salt diet.

Idk guys, I've been miserable, exhausted and hungry every single day for the past 5 days and I'm almost ready to give up. Getting super dizzy and lightheaded when I stand up after sitting down.

Does anybody has any advice? I think I might start seeing a dietician.
