Hi all, I'm a 23 year old 5' 4" male and I've steadily been losing weight over the past two years, starting at 217lbs and reaching my lowest point of 138. I've made a lot of progress but I have been smoking for about two and a half years up until a few weeks ago as it's now been 18 days since my last cigarette after quitting cold turkey which feels great, but I have never felt so hungry before in my entire life. I've counted calories and focused on high fibre, home-cooked meals and have been eating around 1500 calories throughout the day, but as soon as it reaches the evening I feel incredibly hungry and just binge snack. I understand that a bit of what I've gained is likely water weight, but I've gone from 138 to 155 lbs in these past 3 weeks. I feel like my progress is unravelling, and I can see in the mirror my progress reversing. It feels incredibly hard to get back on track, and I assumed my excessive hunger would have subsided by now but it hasn't. Any advice?
