How do you determine your triggers?

My downfall has always been binging. Not until I am sick, but still way past the point of feeling full. I think I find the feeling comforting, it helps me sleep easier (not surprising when my body is too shocked by the amount I ate to do anything but sleep!). I heard Princess Diana's interview where she's discussing her ED and she described being overfull as being "like a hug from the inside" and I guess that's how I feel.

I have ignored the urges for a while now and always thought it would get easier but it doesn't. I see people talking here about their trigger foods that they need to avoid else they'll relapse and it got me thinking... How do you identify trigger foods?

I keep a food diary (MFP) and I haven't seen a link. Have you wonderful people got advice and ideas for the next step? Elimination diet and see if my urges improve?
