First Month on Diet - What changed?

So I want to share a bit about myself, maybe some of those who read this post get a light of encouragement! I feel like doing something good today and this will be it.

So I'm currently 27, I was always thick boned even as a baby I weight a lot, but there was a time I was really thin. Between the ages of 14-19 I was 60-65kg and I'm 5"8 male. So at 19-20 I got a really severe depression (it runs in the family, inherent depression). I started taking 5 pills a day in the morning and still do. At 21 I weighed 88kg. At 22 I weighed 119kg. These pills really opened up my apetite and I was ready to resign to the 'fat self', making an excuse that the pills made me fat and this is my life now.

A MONTH ago I was 133.5kg. Today I'm 126.3kg. That's a bit over 7kg lost in a month. And it's just the start, my aim is 75-80kg for now, then I'll gradually settle at 68-73kg and try my best to maintain the weight :)

So you ask... what did you do ?

1). Calorie counting works guys/gals. It truly does and I'm living proof of it. I consume 1,600-1,700 calories a day since a month ago (11th April 2021) and I'm down 7.2Kg, so yes calorie counting works. It is exhausting yes, and time consuming. You have to be dedicated. EVERY food, every beverage mouse be accounted for. Basically I eat anything I want, but in small, contained portions. Yes, I even eat pizza! But no, not a whole pizza by myself. I split it in half, half of it I eat one day, and the other half I reserve it for another day.

2) Do some cardio. DON'T overdo yourself though, because it might get you energy-depraved and hungrier. What I did was buy a sedentary gym bike and I cycle for 20 minutes/7km a day and that's it!

That's all I'm doing guys/gals. Please don't put up excuses to not start a lifestyle change! Today you can start the change! If I'm doing it, you can do it too. I'm sure of it and I believe that everyone, even older people with slower metabolism are capable of doing this, and yes even people with diseases.

What I noticed now and what changed during/after the 7.2kg loss :

1) I no longer end out of breath when I go up the stairs.

2) I no longer end out of breath when I take a shower.

3) Tops are baggy on me now.

Thank you for taking the time to read this, see you at healthy and thin!
