Frustrated about being over weight all my life

I'm 26 years old and I have been struggling with overweight as far as I can remember. It kept me from accomplishing a lot of things. It made me self-conscious. Over the years, I've tried a lot of different diets and exercises and I have reduced weight. But nothing ever lasted. The most I've reduced so far was 22 lbs over a period of 3 months during the last lockdown. That too didn't last. I gained back more than half of what I had lost. But I am not giving up that easy. I have started all over again. This time more organised. After trying all those different diets and exercises I feel like I know my body better (although I didn't succeed so far). I really hope that this time I could achieve the impossible. I've set a target of loosing 66lbs by the end of this year. I am glad that to have found this sub-reddit and knowing that there are a lot of people out there going through what I am going through kind of empowers me. Let's beat the fat together.
