I (24F) have been trying to lose weight for the past ten years with some success in the past 3-4 years. At my highest I was at about 220 lbs, but I've been on "maintenance" at 165 lbs for a while. My goal is to lose another 20 lbs to get to a somewhat healthy spot. For the past few months I have told myself "Today I start my journey" and then proceeded to eat too much. My maintenance is now becoming an upward tick, which I resent. So today I'm making this post to show myself that I'm ready to actually start this journey and hopefully create healthy habits to last a lifetime. Thanks to this sub for always keeping me honest.
