Eating clean and exercising but not loosing weight. Becoming obsessed with the scale. Please advise?

Hi everyone!

This is my history, I've been quite slender for most of my life but that changed when I reached 24 upwards. I had bad eating habits as I was so used to eating and never picking up weight.

It got to a point where I was considered ' obese' as per my bmi I did not feel confident and was very unhappy with the way I looked. I was a member of the gym but never felt comfortable going as I was a littke intimidated, I wasnt sure how to use the equipment. However, January this year I saw that I needed tn make some drastic changes, I was never a believer of diets but because I was tired and fed up, I started keto.

I was gyming more regularly as well and lost 10kgs. It felt amazing however, I was becoming depressed and I became very obsessed with my weight. I would step on the scale every day to see how much I weighed.

I stopped keto roughly 3 weeks ago, it was also. Making me depressed as I was so limited on what I could and could not eat. I was so tired of certain things. I believe in enjoying your meals. One thing that I'll take home from keto is how to eat clean and understand when I'm hungry or bored. Another reason that I stopped jt is because I was becoming more active and my body was craving certain nutrients. I needed carbs such as sweet potatoes, butternut etc. I could not continue with my work outs as I was feeling dizzy and tired.

After stopping keto I have so much energy to complete my tasks and feel great.

However, I'm still quite obsessed with the scale. My weight fluctuates all the time but I've seen that I've oicked up roughly 2.5kg

It made me feel really sad and a little depressed. I'm working out almost every day and eating clean ( lots of veggies and protein and not snacking, if I do ill have nuts)

I'm not sure if the weight gain is due to the fact that I'm working out and it's muscle replacing fat, if it's water weight or inflammation ad my muscle fibres are tearing but I'm feeling very demotivated.

Im worried about becoming the same person that I was, overweight and unhappy.

How do I become less obsessed with the scale?

And what is tbe reason that im picking up? Even though I'm exercising and eating well

I do not want tn be thjs person that paranoid and never enjoys their life

Thanks in advance
