When does initial water retention on scale go away once introducing new workout routine?

Hey, F, 5’6 139 lbs here. I’ve recently within the last month gone from completely sedentary to relatively active, (typically 50 -60 mins of cardio and 20-40 mins of strength training daily with a rest day here or there). As soon as I began to introduce these, especially strength training it has halted my progress on the scale so I’m finding it difficult to track my weight. I know for a fact that I am in a deficit and look extremely smaller than I did when I started (observed from both other people and myself), however the scale hasn’t budged. My overall calorie deficit ranges between 500-800 a day.

It’s slightly disheartening not seeing the scale move despite seeing progress first hand. It’s also difficult to track my progress consistently. I’ve researched this and it appears it is due to water retention due to muscle tears since I’ve introduced training into my routine. It’s been about 4 weeks of the cardio and about 2 of the strength training. I’m just wondering when I can expect the scale to move in correlation with how my body is looking because I have obviously lost weight. Thank you!!
