Apologies if this is the wrong place for this type of post but wanted some advice about how to react.
So over the course of May to October this year I lost approximately 35 pounds going from 235 to 200. For context I am a 5'10" male and turned 28 just as I hit the 200 pound mark. I have put a few back on now sitting at approx 205 pounds and obviously this type of overall loss is quite noticeable to the people around me.
My family and friends have been incredibly supportive and happy because this needed to happen and occurred after the break up of a long term relationship.
My issue is the comments of the people I work with. Multiple times I have been told I look too skinny and don't need to lose anymore or ill waste away. Obviously at the point where I have put a few back on I feel a little conscious and want to keep working. My ultimate goal is to get to 180 pounds but these comments are hard to deal with now so it makes me feel that I shouldn't get to that point. How do you overcome the comments of people who don't see the work you put in and really are just saying things for the sake of it.
