I want help a kid out he’s 430 lbs and needs to lose weight but he’s struggling big time. Need some advice.

Tl;dr I go to a private fitness gym and there’s a kid who goes there too who is massively overweight. He was doing a good job but now he’s lying about his weight and skipping workouts and eating like crap. I spoke with the other trainers at the gym and told them I’ll help out but I think he needs support. How can I help him?

More info below.

Ok so I go to a private fitness gym and see my personal trainer 5 times a week. I get not everyone gets this opportunity and it’s not necessary but moving to a new place, getting a trainer, a nutritionist, finding new friends it’s all made my life better and now I’m down 70lbs with 40 more to go.

There’s this kid at the gym. I think he might be 22 he’s about 430 lbs maybe 6’ and he works out with one of the trainers. He was doing well for a couple months exercise wise but he still ate crap. Then for some reason he started lying about his weight eating more crap and skipping workouts. His parents aren’t super supportive, they’re Haitian, they’re on him about his weight and his life but at the end of the day you’re a product of your environment, I’ve never met his parents but they can’t be that healthy either.

I was super lucky to be able to have so much support from this community but also my family and this gym to help guide me through my workouts. I now have great friends that keep me accountable and help provide healthy food at parties. But this kid I don’t think he has that.

I talked to the all the trainers and I told them if he wants to accept the help and really push forward to lose weight I’ll help out in any way I can. I’ll meal prep for the kid, I’ll text him to make sure he commits, I’ll teach him what my dietitian taught me. He needs help. How else can I help him?
