So I was having one of those days yesterday when I woke up and had a healthy breakfast, but was still starving right after. So I had another breakfast. Then a snack, then lunch, then another lunch, so on. I’m a very small person (157cm) but yesterday the rules of physics did not apply and my stomach was a black hole where all this food went into a void of nothing.
I felt really guilty and shitty about it at first but then around midday I realised that if my body was telling me it’s hungry, which doesn’t happen often, then maybe I should just listen to it.
That’s how I had an impromptu cheat day. Funnily enough, most of the foods I ate were not even junk or unhealthy, I just ate a lot in general, most of it being health foods.
Today I woke up and my first instinct was to check my stomach in the mirror. I look fine, I’m not overly bloated and I haven’t gained any weight on the scale.
Just thought I’d share this for people reading who might struggle with a negative headspace after a day or two of excessive eating. Please don’t let this ruin your progress or put you off, we are only human and this is supposed to be a lifestyle. There will be days that are anomalies.
