Struggling to lose weight as a vegetarian?

Hi everyone!

I’ve been vegetarian for about 6 months and trying to lose weight since the end of February! I’ve lost just a little over 20 pounds, however, I’ve been plateaued for about a month.

I’m finding I’m recently really struggling with getting enough protein and feeling satisfied. I will literally gorge myself on veggies fruits and legumes, but not feel satisfied until I eat a pizza. This is also causing issues as my family has a history of diabetes and this is making my blood sugar higher. I’m not opposed to eating meat again, however, before I do, I was just wondering if any vegetarians also struggled with weightloss?

I want to lose another 30 pounds which I think is very realistic for me! That would put me at 180-190 at 5’10!
