Need tips for aftercare (running)

So, I jogged today for the first time in years. I never did it consistently to begin with, so I'm new to it. I went for a full hour, alternating speed and inclines, but kept that part i9minimal until I'm used to it.

My feet are killing me, lol. Im doubtful that my shoes are to blame. I work in them all day with no issues, I walk a lot. I invested in a decent pair awhile ago because of my job, so that leads me to think that isnt the issue.

I wound up with a small blister, but mainly I have a lot of swelling on the bottom of my feet, below the toes. Idk what that area of the foot is called, haha. My heels seem to be fine, no real pain there.

I thought maybe this will stop happening with time, but it is very painful in the meantime. Any tips on managing the swelling and pain after jogging? Ways to prevent it, if possible?

I'm a noob, any tips are appreciated. 🤔
