How did loved ones support you?

My husband had a back injury maybe 6 months ago. Pain specialist has said he has to exercise to strengthen his back and he has to lose weight. Drs have of course been telling him for years he has to lose weight especially as he’s now hit 50. He’s got maybe 40kg to lose (and honestly I have 10kg to lose).

I do all of the cooking at home but he snacks. I don’t want to treat him like a kid, I know he has to take responsibility for his health too and he absolutely wants to do it. It’s just the DOING it that’s the sticking point!

My question is how did the people around you best support you in losing weight? What general and specific things did they do that helped you reach your goals?

Thank you beautiful people!
