Hey guys,
I'm 145kg and trying to lose weight since I was 16. One of many strategies I tried was counting calories and maintain a deficit. Never could make it work (probably because I did it wrong or gave up to early). But something my mother once told me always stuck with me.
She claims, that if ure very heavy calorie calculaters cannot handle it, because they scale bad. So if ure very heavy it allows u to many calories for the day and you should ruther put in a 100kg and use those numbers to get into a deficit. Always felt it worked like that, because once I didnt consume sweets it was very easy to maintain the deficit. And u know how the brain goes: Easy doesnt work.
So is it true?
