For the first time in 15 years I don’t know what I weigh. I have not stepped on a scale in over six months and I finally feel like the number on the scale isn’t important. For many years I would weigh myself most days and my weight would always be in my head (not to the point of an obsession, but it would dictate how I felt about my body). I’m noticing that my clothes are getting tighter so I would like to work on eating better and generally being more healthy, but I’m wondering if I will stay motivated by not having a number to track against. Has anyone had success at “losing weight” without actually tracking the weight lost? Thoughts?
