First of all, I'm down over 30 pounds. I don't like to announce when I hit a milestone, because my weight does fluctuate a bit. At -32.6 I think I'm safely past 30.
Second of all I've gone 14 weeks. I had a rough time weeks 10-12, with three trips back to back, and no way to measure or meal plan. In the past I've had problems around week 10, and frequently fallen off the wagon. It often took me months—sometimes years—to re-start.
(I did have a mental issue around week 8 when I plateaued and just seesawed over the same these pounds for weeks. My therapist advised me to seek weightloss-specific support. I joined a local TOPS chapter. The last time I was under 300 was with the help of a TOPS group. It helped me over my hump.)
And third, I've always carried my weight in my hips. Seriously, at my heaviest my hips were 60" around. I've been noticing my leggings fitting better. But a few days ago it was so cold that I had to zip up my coat, and the bottom, which I always wore bunched around my waist, slid easily over my hips. In fact, it's not even tight. I was walking to the bus stop after the TOPS meeting, and I had a literal spring in my step! It's caused a few annoyances, because I reach for my phone or bus pass in my skirt pocket and I forget my coat is in the way. But I shall deal with that.
I have a spreadsheet that predicts milestones (when I'll reach 300, what I'll weigh on NYE). It says within four months I'll be in the 200s. I'm so excited!
