After changing my eating habits for the better, I splurged for my sons bday and now I feel like my body has betrayed me. Worried about feeling physically Ill after Thanksgiving.

I will try to be brief. I have been slowly and steadily trying to improve my health. Less processed food. Portion control. Eating certain food in moderation. 2 months ago I added exercise and it's been going well. I am adding tone and losing fat.

Yesterday was my sons bday and we let loose. Had a snack cake for breakfast. Had probably 4-5 glasses of soda through the day. A big brunch and fried fish and chips at the movies for dinner followed by cake. By the end of the day I felt physically gross and today has been miserable. My stomach has rebeled. I am fatigued. I just feel gross.

Now today I have a lot of water and some onion soup. Ate a small salad for lunch and am avoiding sugar/fatty/greasy food. I am finally starting to feel better.

Now I am worried about Thanksgiving. I am worried if I eat what I usually do even in moderation I am going to end up feeling gross again. Is there some trick to holidays and birthdays so I can enjoy with everyone else without my body throwing me to the curb? Is it normal to have your body react so poorly to eating like you did a year ago?
