self-challenge over tomorrow... or not

i challenged myself this week not to eat any baked goods or anything with added sugar. stuff like jam with my eggs in the morning was fine but limited. i'm so glad i did this! it's not even unsustainable, i'm keeping on with it. i was thinking what to do on monday when the 'challenge' was over and all my thoughts were awful. like, no, why would i get a tub of ice cream just because i'm allowing myself sweets?? that's a terrible idea and i don't even want it! i do, however, still have two or three fun-size kit-kats from halloween left in my purse which i've been avoiding all week. and you know what? that'll do. like, that's a reasonable serving of sugar as a treat and i can't believe i actually recognize that. i'll still bake on weekends or something and i'm going to have christmas treats because you gotta live a little but i'm cutting way back.
