I used to work Full Time at a fast food chain as a manager, meaning I got free food on my breaks. In the two years that I’ve worked there I’ve probably put on another 20ish lbs.
I’ve gone back to school this fall and recently I’ve found my jeans have been falling off of me, and it looks like I’m down nearly 2 sizes! From a 44 men’s to a 42, and even these jeans are loose. I have to wear a belt everywhere because they don’t stay up on my hips anymore. I decided to take a leap of faith and try on a size 40 and while pulling them up they reached my hips but the thighs are super tight.
I’ve always had a big butt and large thighs so I thought maybe all the sports I played just caused me to have thick thighs. In the end I didn’t even bother to try buttoning them because of how uncomfortable it already was. I just figured it a 42 was falling off then maybe I fit in a 40, but I’m probably in between those sizes.
Should I do more lower body exercises to tone my legs a bit? Is it the fit of the jeans? Do I just have thick thighs?
I do plan to continue losing the weight, but I just wanted to maybe get some input on jean sizes.
