I was taught to eat until I was full. I was a tall but skinny child. I believe I was underweight, there was some concern for me so I was instructed to eat as much as I could.
When I hit puberty, I gained some hips and a belly. That eating mentality needs to be changed. I just had a huge lunch, and I found myself thinking about dinner. Why? I'm not hungry. I don't need it. I don't need to feel full at least twice a day.
I've decided I'll have some fruit and maybe a little milk for dinner because I'm training myself that being not-hungry is where I should comfortably rest.
This is good! I've learned to follow my hunger cues! I'm proud of me!
