Went on a 50 miles bicycle ride today for the first time with Strava on and its calories burned estimator is NOWHERE CLOSE to anything my smartwatch, my other fitness apps, and online calories burned calculators estimate.
For context I’m a 180 lbs male and rode 50 miles in about 3 hours 22 minutes and Strava says I’ve burned 1500ish calories while the lose it app, my smartwatch, the other app I use to track my workouts (Mapmyride)m and other calorie counting websites give me about 2300 to 2500 calories burned??? Who the hell should I trust YO.
I need a more or less accurate estimation of calories burned since I measure my food by the microgram with a digital scale. I lost 80 lbs and have 20 more pounds to lose to reach my ideal weight and I’m being real meticulous to avoid slacking while so close to my objective. Anyways, which calories burned estimation should I trust?
