Body Recomposition?

I wanted to see if anyone has any advice on where to start with this. Basically, I want to lose 50 lbs. I’m 210 currently and want to get down to 160.

I’ve found myself stuck at 210 for some time, and it makes me sad, to be honest, but I’m still trying.

I’m just wondering when/if I should start integrating lifting at a higher rate. Right now I do body weight/dumbbell stuff maybe three times a week and run every day. I’m also watching my weight.

I recently learned (or, really, relearned) about body recomposition, and I was hoping someone could offer some insight in this. Is this something I should be focusing on now, or focus on it more once I’m closer to my goal weight?

I guess that’s my main question, but I’d really appreciate any advice anyone could offer.

Thanks

I’m a dude and 20, btw. 5’9 210lbs
