I (female, 1.67m) started my journey on February, the 16th at 77,5kg. My goal weight is 60kg.
I have reached my first small goal of loosing 5kgs about 3 weeks ago and today, on my birthday, I weighed in at 69.9kg. So I reached my goal of going below 70kg exactly at the time I planned for it/wanted it to happen. That's truly the best birthday gift and I'm so happy😊.
My waist went from 84cm to 78cm which is amazing. I can really feel the difference when I put on tight jeans. Also, because my wrists and ankles are already small, now my watch almost doesn't fit anymore. The smallest setting is 5.5 inches which I am now at and it's getting loose. Before I started my journey it sat snuggly around my wrist at 5.7 inches.
I sadly didn't measure my thighs but they have already gotten smaller. My pants fit differently and I can see it in the mirror as well. Before, I also felt my big arms and back fat were sort of getting in the way but now I feel like I can move freely, which is nice.
My next mini goal is 65kg and I hope to reach that by the end of May.
I'm currently on a 800-1200 deficit a day and it's been working like a charm. Walking at least 10k steps a day has really been the best solution for me. At first it was hard to reach that every single day and so far I've gotten into 3 hailstorms, wind that blew sticks around and an awful lot of rain but it was all worth it. Reaching 10k is now a daily give to me and I go above that almost every day. Last week, because the weather was okay and I had a week off from work, I went over 15k every day.
Today, however, I have so many birthday preoperations that I might not make it😂 but cleaning, grocery shopping etc also come with a great deal of walking, so I guess I'll be fine.
