I had sinusitis surgery back in April, I was 190lbs. I now weigh 223lbs.
I used to be 260lbs then lost it down to 190, went back up to 220 then back down to 190 and maintained that for two years. I let the Prednisone take complete control and used that as my excuse for being reckless with food again.
I have never struggled with losing weight before, this is the first time that I am in tears and completely lost. It is so hard to slow down on my eating. What can I do? I need numbers, how long does it take until my body gets used to smaller portions?
It just makes no sense why I am starving constantly, it has never been like this. I've been to the doctor for binge eating disorder and was put on some medicine but that's a bandaid, it isn't going to help unless I do it myself. My asthma has gotten severe with the weight gain too, and I'm too scared to see a doctor for it (they'll prescribe Prednisone) so I sit at home, not wanting to do anything because I can't breathe so I just eat.
What have you guys done to beat your own brain and take control?
