I got on the scale a few days ago and saw that it said I am 167 lbs. Six years ago I would never imagine seeing that number again. I started this journey at 240 lbs and at a 42-inch waist. Today I am at a 34-inch waist. It's still kind of hard to believe that my waist has gotten so small. I still feel big though, but that's the part of making progress. I don't have abs, but I know if I continue to lift my weights and do my core workouts and continue my diet it will happen eventually. That was never my intention but I want to see how far I can go now.
I know my body seems to look different depending on the time of the day but there are times when it is beginning to look, fitter. I still need to work on toning and tightening my body but it's good to see after about 9 solid weeks of consistency some changes.
I think if I have the advice to give it's to just stick with a plan. Figure out a diet with things you like, exercise that is reasonable to do and just to push yourself into doing it. The first 3 weeks were the hardest for me, but afterward, it got much easier. Also, I'm no longer as sore as I use to be, plus I seem to be recovering even quicker than before. I think for the first time in my life I can reasonably say that I have made progress and am continuing to do so.
